NMA Knights-Mural

Thursday, January 20th, 2011

This mural was done for the Northside Methodist Academy school gym here in Dothan, AL.  It is 8′ X 12′, airbrushed over an under-base.  The original image of the knight is not a creation by No Bones Art.  We took the original knight and added more character and detail, and then gave him a fitting background.  This mural is being used to replace the former painting that was used to represent NMA school spirit.

No Bones Art can airbrush murals for schools, churches, daycares, businesses, and any other place that feels the need to spruce up the scenery.  Contact us today by phone or email.

Pooh Mural

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

I did this in my one-year-old’s bedroom just before he was born.  His mother was determined to use this theme, and with no objections (HaHa), I spent a week working on it.  Every image is airbrushed and nothing was pre-drawn before the paint was applied.  As a final touch to complete the cartoon appearance, I used a black paint marker to outline the airbrush work on all four walls.  None of these images are of my own creation, (obviously), and this was a very simple wall mural.

girl moon

Friday, July 9th, 2010

I find it very relaxing after a long day to sit outside if the weather is nice.  There’s just something about the outdoors that is irreplaceable.  And one of those times that I enjoy the most is during a full moon.  Times like those inspired me to airbrush my idea of what the moon would look like if it had a face.  Friendly, caring, and relaxing.  I can’t think of a better way to describe it.

I also enjoy playing with two-color  color schemes from time to time.  I still have this original painting, which is rare, on a 24″x30″ canvas.  It has been a hard one to let go.
